Imprint Methods

Two ways to mark a piece.

Each method reads differently on leather. The right choice depends on the piece, the logo, and how the gift will be used. We're happy to send physical samples.

Heated brass die pressing a blind deboss into Bandera leather
Method 01

Deboss

Recessed mark stamped directly into the leather, no color fill. Reads as quality at distance: quiet, restrained, lets the leather color stay unbroken. Standard on flat pieces (notepads, padfolios, coasters, mouse pads, money clip wallets) where the leather body itself carries the mark.

Hot-stamp press laying black foil into Bandera leather
Method 02

Hot Stamp · Black Foil

A heated die presses black foil into the leather, leaving the mark in a crisp, low-contrast black. Reads as deliberate without shouting: the foil catches the light only when the piece is angled. Pairs well with darker leathers and logos that need to stay legible at a distance. Same setup workflow as the deboss; the foil is the only addition.
